Volunteer Opportunities

The Gift Planning Council of New Jersey offers several opportunities to serve the council, its members, and the philanthropic community in the state.

Aid in producing the annual conference

This year’s conference, Wednesday and Thursday, April 20-21, 2011, needs hands to help with recruiting speakers, soliciting sponsors and exhibitors, organizing activities, overseeing facility choice and management, arranging publicity, and volunteering at the event. While the conference is a major undertaking, we tackle the conference in small, manageable pieces. Help staff educational sessions

Help to staff the registration table for GPCNJ luncheons and nuts-and-bolts sessions throughout the year. It’s a great way to meet other council members and network. To lend a hand, call (763.932.8808) or e-mail (etruslow@winants.rutgers.edu) GPCNJ Vice President Liz Truslow.

Consider sitting on the Board of Directors

This group of nonprofit fundraisers, lawyers, financial planners, trust officers, accountants, and consultants oversees the programming and finances of the council.
